Privacy policy
Who runs this site
Fri Fantasi is run by Fri Fantasi from Denmark.
What we store
- Your prompt and the format you choose.
- A random ID cookie, so the site can keep track of your job and limit abuse. The site needs it to work, and it is never used for ads or tracking.
- A hashed version of your IP address, which we use to limit abuse. We do not store the address itself.
- Your picture. Every free picture is shown on the front page and in the gallery for everyone to see. Your prompt is never shown with it.
- Your reactions in the gallery (heart, thumbs up or thumbs down), tied to your random ID cookie so you can change them.
We never ask for your name, email address or a login.
If someone reports a picture, it is hidden at once and deleted within 7 days, unless we find nothing wrong with it.
Where your data is processed
- The website runs on a server in Denmark.
- Pictures are made on our own graphics card in Denmark. At busy times we may also use graphics cards rented through FluxEdge, which can be outside the EU, for example in the United States or Canada. We send them only your prompt and a job ID, never your IP address or cookie, and they keep nothing when they are switched off.
- Tailscale carries the traffic to the site, encrypted all the way.
So please don’t put personal information in your prompt.
How long we keep it
Pictures stay in the gallery until we remove them. Prompts and hashed IP addresses are deleted after 7 days. We may keep anonymous statistics, such as the number of pictures per day, for longer.
Ads
The site is paid for by ads. Before any advertising cookie is set, you will be asked for your consent, and you can say no.
Cookies
Today we use only the one necessary cookie described above. There are no advertising or analytics cookies until you have agreed to them.
Legal basis
We process this data to provide the service and prevent abuse. That is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask to see or delete data about you by writing to us. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
